Effortless Elegance

Nestled in the vibrant inner-city community of Ramsay, this brand-new build beautifully blends modern design with the soul of a storied neighbourhood. Our clients had a clear vision: they wanted to maintain the open, airy feel of their home while gaining privacy and softness without sacrificing the stunning natural light that floods in through those big, beautiful windows.

In the main living areas, we installed floor-to-ceiling ripplefold sheer drapery at 100% fullness on a matte black decorative rod offering gentle privacy while keeping the space light, soft, and elevated. For the additional main floor windows, we added natural woven Roman shades, handcrafted from sustainable materials like jute and bamboo to introduce warmth, texture, and an organic touch that perfectly complements the home’s clean lines. Upstairs in the kids’ bedrooms, we went with motorized two fabric combo shades, sheer on top to keep that indoor-outdoor feel and the view intact, and blackout on the bottom for cozy sleep. The rechargeable motors and remote controls make them kid-friendly and perfect for harder-to-reach windows.

In the basement, designed as a movie room, we installed motorized blackout roller shades for optimal light control and effortless functionality.

Thank you to our incredible clients for trusting us to bring this space to life. We loved working with you to create a window covering package that feels just as thoughtful and intentional as the home itself.

Rooted & Refined

This project holds a special place in our hearts- not just because of the stunning design, but because of the meaning behind the home. Built on land that’s been in the family for generations, this custom homewas designed with deep intention and love. Every square foot was thoughtfully planned from a master ensuite with its own laundry to a full basement guest suite and a main floor school room- and the same level of care went into the window coverings.

Brought in by the talented Carmen Interiors, we worked closely together to help our clients select the perfect window treatments for their lifestyle, style, and goals.

For most of the home, the priority was to reduce harsh light and heat while still maintaining visibility to the outdoors. We knew immediately that solar roller shades were the perfect solution. The clients opted for a sleek black 5% openness solar fabric with PowerWand operation, offering protection from the heat and glare, while still keeping their beautiful views front and center. The PowerWand gave them the easy, cord-free operation they wanted without the hassle of remotes.

For the kids’ rooms, we went with a tried-and-true favorite: Brilliance Blackout Limestone roller shades. Soft, neutral, and super effective for sleep routines.

In the primary bedroom, we added a dual shade system with the same black solar shade in behind, paired with the Brilliance Blackout Limestone shade in front for full privacy and light control when needed. We added just a touch of texture in the butler’s pantry with a natural woven Roman shade, giving the space a cozy, grounded feel. And one of our favorite design moments? The cafe curtains in the ensuite, thoughtfully designed and executed by Carmen, but just too good not to share. They offered the perfect balance of privacy and openness, and were such a lovely reflection of her warm and charming design vision.

Thank you Mike and Rachel for trusting us (and Carmen!) to help bring your forever home to life. It was such an honour to be part of a build that’s not just custom- it’s meaningful.

Warmth & Texture

This one was a true labour of love- not just because it’s the second home Jayme and her family have trusted us with, but because of the heart that went into every detail. After moving from Chestermere to Airdrie, Jayme, her husband, their two beautiful girls, and their adorable pup Wallace created a space that reflects who they are: warm, welcoming, and wonderfully unique.

Jayme describes their home as “more than just a place we live- it’s where we truly exist.” Wrapped in warmth and layered with comfort, creativity, and connection, their style blends Mid-Century Modern and Boho with a touch of eclectic charm. It’s a space that feels curated but never stiff - where clean lines meet textured layers, vintage pieces mingle with playful accents, and every corner invites you to stay awhile.

To brighten and soften the darker wood tones on the main floor, we selected white sheer shadings which are the perfect balance of function and beauty. These shades filter light through delicate fabric vanes, allowing daytime privacy while keeping the space airy and open. At night, a simple tilt provides full coverage and a cozy glow.

In the primary bedroom, a cozy nook became the perfect spot for custom blackout drapery on a matte black traversing rod. Jayme loved the casual elegance of the inverted pleat, which adds fullness with a relaxed, modern feel. The result? A peaceful retreat that feels taller, softer, and beautifully elevated.

Throughout the rest of the home, we used Blackout rollers in the Linen Sandstone fabric- a soft, neutral roller fabric that brings warmth and texture while delivering excellent light control for the family’s everyday needs.

Jayme, thank you for trusting us once again. Your creativity, kindness, and intentional approach to creating home is something we admire so much- and we’re so lucky to be a part of it.

Modern Lines & Local Love

This project will always hold a special place in my heart- not only because of the stunning design, but because Jenn and Jason were some of the first clients to truly trust me early on in my business. Their support, their vision, and their commitment to staying local made this one unforgettable.

From their custom kitchen by Layne Kitchens to the 10mm custom glass showers by Airdrie Windshield & Glass, everything about this home was done with intention, heart, and community in mind. The result? A truly one-of-a-kind space that feels refined, modern, and deeply personal.

With marble flooring and clean contemporary lines throughout, the goal was to choose window coverings that offered privacy without sacrificing light or openness. In the main areas, we selected treatments that blended in beautifully, offering functionality and softness, without overwhelming the sleek design.

But where this project really stood out was in the more complex architectural windows like the angled window in the bonus room, the oversized basement windows, and the bar windows that fully open to the outdoors. These required a thoughtful, tailored solution, and Eclipse Polysilk Shutters were the perfect fit.

Durable, moisture-resistant, and easy to maintain, these shutters added structure and timeless charm without compromising the clean aesthetic. Plus, they’re tough enough to handle high-traffic spaces- a win for both form and function.

Templating and installing these shutters was no small feat, but it was absolutely worth the effort. This job challenged me in all the right ways and taught me so much about precision, problem-solving, and delivering quality at every step.

Jenn and Jason, thank you for believing in me and letting me be part of something so special. Your home is a beautiful reflection of your values, your style, and your love for this community, and I’m so grateful to have played a small part in it.
